21 Sept 2026: The Kindness of Mister Mishkins launch party

I was thrilled to have a wonderful launch party for The Kindness of Mister Mishkins at the fabulous Old School Books in Burnham Market last Saturday. The day was spent signing books before a private event in the evening, with the most fabulous rainbow cake made by store manager, Laurie.

It was so lovely to celebrate with family and friends. As ever, far too few photographs of the night, but enough memories to last a lifetime. Thank you to all who came!

The Kindness of Mister Mishkins – out now!

17 Sept 2026: The Kindness of Mister Mishkins out today!

I am thrilled that the third book in my Magical Mister Mishkins series is released today. The Kindness of Mister Mishkins sees everyone’s favourite ginger cat return. He helps a young boy named Leo, who struggles to find his voice. Mister Mishkins takes more of a lead role in this book, and when a storm rolls into town and threatens Mosaic Street, many old favourites return to the Apothecary to save everyone.

One Beta reader said:

“I’ve beta read a few of your books now, and honestly I can see how much your story telling and writing has grown! This is such a fun and interesting ‘world’ with so many opportunities to tell stories that will not only captivate young readers, but teach them lessons, and maybe even give them the opportunity to see themselves in your characters. I think especially with this story’s main child, Leo, that a lot of children (and adult reading to them) will be able to relate to, or maybe teach them something about someone who he reminds them of. His arc was such a powerful one to see.”
